Art!

A New Book…making Class

Now that I’m back in the rather hectic routine of my last semester of my undergrad, I’m not expecting to produce much more art than the stuff for my papermaking and book arts class, my last studio class at Augsburg…but fortunately, I already believe that the products of this class will be absolutely unforgettable. Tuesday I got to start putting together the pages for an accordion book, and today I made my first stamp, and it was modeled after the little koru shell that I brought back from Omaha Beach in New Zealand. This was just a scrap but I really like how it looks; it’s more elegant than my normal art is.
